Schneider Electric strengthens its positions in Russia

 

Group’s (electronic equipment) turnover in third quater was increased by 37, 9 % up to 5, 45 billion of euros. It announced that it would buy 50 % of capital of Russian company ElectroShield-TM Samara.

  

The swelling of quarter’s activity was largely dependent on Areva Distribution because this entity represents 12 % of turnover. If we put by this fact quarter growth has progressed by 11, 9 % up to 5,446 billion of euros. The group speaks about un “rcord turnover” during first nine year’s months.

Strengthening in Russia

Schneider Electric said that it would buy 50 % of ElectroShield-TM Samara’s capital which is the leader of middle voltage in Russia for the price of approximatively 265 billion of euros; it is 1, 3 times expected turnover  for 2010.  If certain conditions would be in place and with competition authorities’s approval Schneider Electric could buy another 50% at the same financial conditions.

Michel Crochon Chief Executive Schneider Electric Energy’s division said: "That acquisition reaffirms our ambitions in Russia and allows us to expand our regional presence in Russia this is in accord with our strategy plan which should able us to become the leader in new economies".

En Europe de l’Ouest et en Amérique du Nord, le chiffre d’affaires augmente respectivement de 11 et 6% par rapport à l’an dernier.

In East Europe and North America turnover increases by 11 and 6 % in comparison with previous year.

Obectives were raised

The group thinks that in second half of the year Industry and Buildings activity recovery would continue. Geographically it puts on emerging countries’s   dynamics but recovery should stay slow in developed markets.

Enfin, et surtout, Schneider Electric a décidé de relever ses objectifs pour 2010. Il prévoit une croissance forte pour le deuxième semestre et une marge d’exploitation comprise entre 15,5 et 16% pour l’ensemble de l’exercice.

Finally Schneider Electric wants to raise its objectives for 2010. It thinks that growth would be strong in second half of the year and operating marge would be between 15, 5 and 16% in all industry activity.

Le chiffre d’affaires du groupe d’équipements électroniques a bondi de 37,9% au troisième trimestre à 5,45 milliards d’euros. Il a annoncé le rachat de 50% du capital du russe ElectroShield-TM Samara.

 Areva Distribution, a contribué pour une large part au gonflement de l’activité trimestrielle puisque cette entité représente 12% du chiffre d’affaires. Mais hors Areva, la croissance trimestrielle progresse de 11,9% pour s’établir à 5,446 milliards d’euros. Sur les neuf premiers mois de l’année, le groupe parle dans son communiqué de "chiffre d'affaires record" à 14 milliards d’euros.

Renforcement en Russie

Schneider Electric a annoncé le rachat de 50% du capital de ElectroShield-TM Samara, leader de la moyenne tension en Russie, pour environ 265 millions d’euros, soit environ 1,3 fois le chiffre d’affaires attendu pour 2010. Sous réserve de certaines conditions et de l’approbation des autorités de la concurrence, 

Schneider Electric pourrait obtenir les 50% restants à des conditions financières similaires.

Michel Crochon, Directeur Général de la division Energy de Schneider Electric, s’explique: « Cette acquisition réaffirme notre ambition en Russie, et nous permet d’étendre notre présence régionale conformément à notre stratégie visant à devenir un leader dans les nouvelles économies».

Les objectifs relevés

 Le groupe prévoit, pour le deuxième semestre, une poursuite de la reprise des activités Industry et Buildings. Géographiquement, il mise sur la dynamique des pays émergents mais prévient que la reprise des marchés matures devrait rester lente.

Schneider Electric укрепляет свои позиции в России

 

Оборот группы (электрическое оборудование) в третьем квартале увеличился на  37,9% до суммы в 5,45 миллиардов евро. Была обьявлена покупка 50% капитала русской компании ElectroShield-TM Samara.

Квартальная активность поднялись в значительной степени за счёт  компании Areva Distribution, так как она представляет 12% от оборота групы. Но без Areva квартальный рост увеличился на 11,9%, чтобы остановиться на отметке в 5,446 миллирда евро. За девять первых месяцев года группа называет «рекордный оборот»  в 14 миллиардов евро.

Укрепленике позиций в России

Группа Schneider Electric обьявила о покупке 50% капитала компании ElectroShield-TM Samara, ведущей компании сферы «среднего напряжения»  в России, сумма примерно будет равна 265 миллиардам евро, что представляет собой сумму большую в 1,3 раза  ожидаемого годового оборота за 2010 год. Если будут соблюдены некоторые условия и ФАС одобрит сделку,  Schneider Electric может купить оставшиеся 50% на тех же финансовых условиях.

Michel Crochon Генеральный Директор подразделения Energy de Schneider Electric поясняет : "Это приобритение подтверждает ещё раз наши амбиции в России и помогает нам увеличить наше присутствие в регионе, что входит в рамки нашей стратегии по становлению лидером в новых экономиках"

 

 

В Западной Европе и Северной Аиерике годовой оборот поднялся на 11 и 6%  (соответствено) по сравнению с прошлым годом.

Увеличение целей

Группа предвидит, что во второй половине года, продолжение активности в секторах Industry (Индустрии) и Buildings(Строительства). Изходя из географических соображений она ставит на динамику развивающихся стран, но предвидит,что восстановление развитых рынков должна остаться медленной.

Наконец  группа Schneider Electric решила увеличить цели на 2010 год. Она предвидит  большой темп роста во втором полугодии и операционную прибыль находящуюся между 15,5 и 16% от всей активности отрасли.
